Default Team Fourby's new build

hey guys i had a build up somewhere but i can't find it it was a while ago any way
this is what it sarted out as pretty stock 4 inch spring 2 inch body 35 claws

then i did a V8 conversion Holden 5.0L out of a VQ statesman

then i decided to turn it into a ute easiest option for me was to bolt a ute body on so i took the body off

then sourced a ute body

then bolted it on

That is looking awesome mate.

I'm still trying to work out what to do with the front end of mine. I was thinking of going 5 link in mine but the 3link plus panard seems to be the in thing now.

What was you reason for changing?

Cheers Mick.

well i was going to move the front diff forward so that would mean i have to do a new 5 link anyway cause this one is just a bolt in one a 3 link has less links to build and i think it will give a little more flex, and i won't be driving this on the road anymore

No worries. I'm moving my front diff forward about 2 inches or maybe a little more as well.

Another question. What do you plan on doing to stop the 44s from hitting the radius arms at full lock? Are you just going to run 3 inch wheel spacers or have you other ideas?

Cheers Mick.

well because im making new arms for my 3 link the lower arms are going to directly inline with the chassis not outside like the standard set up as well as i will be running a different set of beadlocks that have a high off set worst case i can get wheel spacers

the tyres should end up clearing the arms quite easily with the offset of the rims and moving the links in slightly
